Not only are the adult Komodo dragons powerful, their tiny babies are no different. Did you know the female Komodo dragons make two different kinds of nests the hillside or on the ground. There are about 10 to 35 eggs laid at a time.Thats a lot of eggs!! The mothers guard the eggs before they hatch but the after they hatch she doesn't care for them. Before they hatch she tries to trick predators with fake nets. These tiny beasts hatch at the end of the rainy seasons and are usually, green with black or yellow spots when they first hatch.
